Global Power Supply is proud to announce that it has completed the delivery of a new MTU 3250 kW standby diesel generator to Flexential’s “Brookwood” data center in Oregon. The new unit adds capacity to previously installed MTU gensets, all running in parallel. This solution is specifically designed to be fault tolerant and tier 3 certified by the Uptime Institute.
GPS was awarded the project based on a design-build quotation which included multiple paralleled gensets installed over the course of several years. In addition to furnishing the equipment our scope also included freight and logistics, startup, commissioning,
onsite assembly, and additional site services.
GPS worked closely with Peak 10 + Viawest’s design team and contractors through a detailed submittals review process.
Peak 10 and ViaWest were rebranded as Flexential in January of 2018. For 20 years, Flexential has offered a comprehensive suite of hybrid IT services including cloud storage solutions, colocation,
connectivity, managed solutions, and security services. At 41 data centers and 14 cloud nodes, they are focused on providing clients with solutions delivered through optimized IT infrastructure.
